This hotel has an incredibly convenient location, being within walking distance of the train station and right in the heart of the city center. the reception staff are friendly and willing to help, providing prompt and efficient service. the rooms are generally clean and come equipped with necessary basics, such as a refrigerator and water dispenser.
As with many hotels in older buildings, the lack of an elevator may pose a challenge for travelers with heavy luggage.

Not far from the downtown, 5 minutes on foot. Syabry, where you can eat, is walking distance to the hotel. Central heating, a writing desk and an ironing set available in the single room. The reception staff was doing a nice job.

The hotel is an old Soviet Union era construction and is now rather dilapidated and very basic; the bathroom and toilet in particular are very shabby.. but functional. The floors creak and the doors are paper thin (hollow fibreboard) so there is little sound suppression and you will hear whatever is going on in the corridors. That said, the room was clean, tidy and pleasant enough.. and everything works. The hotel is currently undergoing re-furbishment and apart from the restaurant was closed, the works didn't intrude (though as stated, there is a general background noisiness). If you're a back-packer or you stayed at Youth Hostels then this is outstanding value for money. It's just 100m from the railway station and splendidly located for the centre of town.
Once you acclimatised to the basic nature of the amenities then the hotel is pretty good for the price. The only thing that I found a nuisance was the poor sound insulation. The interior door to the room had been removed so that the room could be used as a "twin" and accommodate a small wardrobe (the interior door would not be able to open in this configuration) This made it noisy, since the main room door is pretty thin to keep the sound out on its own. Staff were very helpful but only limited English, though this was not a problem for me.

Great value for money. Nice location. Good restaurant nearby - Karchma. Clean and cozy rooms. Friendly staff. Perfect location for travel. Well-priced balance. Easy parking.
Nothing all excellent.

Very well located in Gomel, right next to the railway station in the middle of town. The room had a refrigerator which was useful. Staff were reasonably friendly and very efficient.
The decor is dilapidated and very basic.... probably 20 years old or more. The facilities were in various states of repair.. run down and only just working. Given the price, that's probably acceptable (think of the hotel as "camping indoors" and you won't be disappointed) but cleanliness was poor. The shower head was black with mould, the toilet seat was stained and smelly and the carpet in the room needed a serious brush and wash. The hotel is undergoing extensive refurbishment ... so it could be the staff have stopped paying close attention to the older rooms.

This hotel is conveniently located right next to the train station, making it easy to get around this city. The clean and well-maintained rooms were cozy and had everything I needed, including a heated towel rack and comfortable bedding. I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, who made my stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel had drinking water dispensers in the corridors, which was a nice touch.
Nothing, all great.

The hotel was conveniently located near the train station and restaurants. The rooms had a fridge and a water dispenser in the corridor. The staff was friendly and efficient.
The decor was old and run down. Cleanliness was poor with mouldy showers and stained toilet seats.
